Current Developments: The Rangers continue their pursuit of their first post season appearance in the RSHL. The team enjoyed a strong month of March posting a record of 7 - 2 - 2, and an impressive 5 - 0 - 1 mark on the road. Despite the successful month the Ranger cannot distance themselves from Esposito divisional rival Flyers, who are only one point back.

The Rangers continue to play good team defence and the goaltending has been exceptional when needed. Jose Theodore has a 2.37 GAA (2nd only to Martin Brodeur) and leads the league with a .913 save percentage, back up Vesa Toskala has also been strong between the pipes when called upon, posting a 2.24 GAA and a .915 save percentage. The Rangers are also in the hunt for the best GAA as a team. The Rangers trail on the Canucks by .02 a game, the Canucks 2.36 - Rangers 2.38, only 2 goal difference over 76 games.

Kyle Calder led the team offensively this month with 16 points in 11 games, 9 goals and 7 assists. He was awarded the Player of the Week for week 21 and finished 2nd to only Dany Heatley for the Player of the Month.

Not all was good in Rangerland this month as Justin Williams has missed the last nine games with a back injury. Justin was revaluated and will be out another 3 months. Kapovtsev of the Black Hawks was ejected from the game for the hit from behind but no suspension was given.
