The Mighty Ducks wrap up March making history in the clubs short RSHL history, by securing a spot in this years playoffs, first time ever for these Ducks to see some post season action. The Ducks made the playoff run going 8-3-0 this month, 4-1 at home and 4-2 on the road. The Ducks had some ijury issues this month but it looks like most of the players are returning now. The trade deadline did not see the Ducks making nearly as many moves as they would have liked to mainly do to some personal time conflicts of GM Mohammed.

The Ducks now have 4 players all over the 30 goal mark, with Daniel Alfredsson returning from injury to regain the scoring lead with 32, followed by Steve Rucchin and Eric Daze with 31 each and Vincent Damphousse at 30... yes.. i said Vincent Damphouse. By month end however, it was Rucchin holding on to lead the team in points with 74, follwed by Alfredsson & Daze with 73 each and Damphousse at 70. These same 4 Duckmen also find themselves in the top 21 overall league scoring as well. Teemu Selanne has 8 GWG on the year and Alfredsson has 8, just off the leader (Forsberg, Van, 10). Daze still leads the team with a +/- rating of 18, follwed by Yannick Tremblay with 13. Patrick Lalime who may be enjoying his last good strong year, recorded his 31st win of the season. The Ducks Power play ends March in 9th position with 15.17%, while thier Penalty Killing teams finished with a 88.81% good for 4th in the league. GF/G was 3.16 (5th) and GA/G was 2.70 (10).

To wrap up the Ducks season, they have 6 games remaining, 3 of them agains the Dallas Stars (3-1-0-1), 2 against the LA Kings (5-1-0) and 1 against the Sharks of San Jose (3-3-1-0), and all Dionne Division rivals.
