The Jet are only 2 points out of a playoff spot but there are three other teams sharing that place. One of them are the Stars who were rolling along until their recent 3 game losing streak.
The Leafs are trying to hold off the Capitals and Canadiens for that final playoff spot. Trading James Van Riemsdyk to the Bruins hasn't helped their cause. The beantowners seem to have found their stride and don't look now, only trail the Tampa Bay Lightning by only 3 points.
The cats are currently 2nd in the Eastern Conference trailing only the Buffalo Sabres. The Nords have been playing mediocre of late going 5-4-1 in their last ten games. Florida at home is almost money in the bank
The Avalanche have been playing good hockey lately but won't be climbing any higher in the western conference as they trail the Canucks by 19 points. The Canucks appear to be getting back into form, winners of 3 straight maybe it's time for them to show who's boss in the West.
 Only 2 points separate these two quality teams. They both are 7-2-1 in their last ten games but the Pens have won 5 straight games and are rolling. While the Isles are tough at home, I'm going with the Penguins in this contest.
