Artturi Lehkonen is off to a blazing start in Season 22, making waves with the RSHL Whalers. The Finnish winger has racked up an impressive 11 points, including 8 goals, in his first 12 games. His stellar performance earned him the coveted Player of the Week award for Week 3, thanks to a remarkable 9-point effort over five games.

Lehkonen's week began with a bang, scoring 2 goals and adding an assist in a thrilling match against Colorado. He continued his hot streak with another 2-goal performance versus the Kraken, followed by a goal against the Ducks. Not one to slow down, he dished out 2 assists in a game against the Nordiques and capped off the week with a goal against the Sharks. Despite an illness that kept him out of the lineup against Quebec, Lehkonen's impact was undeniable.

Originally drafted by the Rangers in the second round of Season 12, Lehkonen never suited up for New York. Instead, he made his debut with the Stars in Season 15 before being traded to the Whalers for Phillippe Myers in Season 17. Last season, Lehkonen set career highs with 37 goals and 61 points, and he's already on pace to surpass those numbers this year.

Not to be outdone, Kirill Kaprizov of the Canucks also had an outstanding week, tallying 10 points in five games and finishing second in the Player of the Week voting. But for now, the spotlight is firmly on Lehkonen, whose electrifying start has Whalers fans dreaming of a championship run.
