June Review: With a record of 14-10-1 in June it is easy to say it wasn't Boston's best month. While the Bruins did finish strong they were quickly brought down to earth by the San Jose Sharks to finish the month. It was an eye opener and it shows that Boston has its work cut out for themselves. On the bright Boston still boasts the number one powerplay and are 9th on the PK. The goals for can improve as it only sits 13th overall but the goals against stands at 4th best. With only three weeks left to go in the regular season the coaching staff will have to try and generate more offense while still keeping a sound defensive game. Sidney Crosby leads the team in scoring with 31 goals with 43 assists for 74 points. Zach Hyman leads the team in goals scored with 32 with Crosby and Bryan Rust have 31 apiece. The key will be to get Rust going for while Crosby has found chemistry with Hyman, Rust has yet to find his groove. The Bruins will need him when the post season begins and even going down the stretch drive. The coaching staff may have to come up with a way to put him in a more advantageous position. Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck continues his steady play and will be counted on to help lead the way for Boston. The additions of defensemen Ryan Graves and Ilya Lyubushkin adds some depth and toughness on the blueline. The goal is to finish on top of the Orr Division and from there hopefully go on a good run in the playoffs.
