Whats next?

Afternoon gents,

Here is a comprehensive set of next steps as I recall them.

Now that the draft is completed, all those picks must be added to the simulator. before I can do that, a couple of teams need to address their team levels. As the draftees have no ratings, possibly only for now, they will be added to their respective team's prospect list. If a team has too many prospects, the system will crash, so we need to avoid that. I suspect those lists will be addressed over the next few days.

So next I need to assign all 210 players to their teams in the simulator.

Next, I plan on telling the simulator, and website we are officially in season 22, currently we are in season 21 playoffs. After this happens I plan on trying to come up with the outline of a schedule. We will ignore the preseason, it's a meaningless period anyway.

Somewhere in the middle of this, I know Robbie is working on ratings, so the question "When will we start" I don't have an exact date at this point, but we are a lot closer to starting than we were 2 weeks ago.

Ok, so after advancing to S22, it became ABUNDANTLY clear we do need a short preseason, this is where certain tasks are completed, including the pool, reverse arbitration, endorsements, and likely other things I"m not even thinking about. There WILL be a SHORT preseason that proceeds regular season.
