Lightning Move Into 1st

The Bolts have continued the turnaround in Tampa, going 6-3-1 in their last 10 games and moving into sole possession of 1st place in the Statsny. While Binnington has continues his great play it looks like Swayman has been able to get into the mix to take a few games as well. With both top tier goaltenders on their game it makes things easier in front of them. The Whalers have been right there with them and this thing could see saw back and forth throughout the season. Makes for an exciting division race as the season progresses. Will either team make a move to solidify their line up? "If it is the right move we will make it." was all GM Palmer would say when asked directly. It doesn't appear that anything is cooking at the moment. GM Palmer did indicate that the will be looking to get some prospects into the farm so we don't expect a lot of draft pick movement from the team this year.
