Pre-sign schedule out of whack with the new FA and Draft order?

What exactly is happeninf with that? We able to use two years of picks now for the later free agency? Will the draft be taking place shortly after playoffs like nhl? Is anyone even around to chime in here other than Brett?

HOLY CRAP!!! I really thought contract extensions were opened up , but now that I've told the site to check, tells me NOPE!!!
My intention was this would all become clear as the thought would be clear from start to finish... THAT hasn't happened yet... might need to bounce some who can follow the idea
