With a 4th presign as a reward the last couple of years, activity and excitement for the rshl Playoff Pool has risen. Should the rshl consider a regular season pool for a 4th presign as well?

I would love to see one using nhl stats with RSHL players on your own team for a 4th pre-sign... Using your full roster of 20 in GMeditor... 12f+6d+2g.... Now there is some excitement and activity!

Only about 3 GMs that would probably keep up with that, with the trades and injuries and what not that goes on in nhl and rshl. Not as black and white. Also, some teams are at a HUGE disadvantage if they’re only picking off their own team.

If the sim is capable of updating the pool file and tracking a regular season pool then let’s try it.

The teams that are a disadvantage can slowly build their team up to be able to compete in it eventually... Which is actually what they should have been doing all this time, but I understand that some guys have inherited their teams. I say we have one like that, and 2 more like our current pool (reg season and playoffs). Making three 4th pre-signs up for grabs.

If I want to be in a pool I'll enter pools. This should be tied to the RSHL. You want to give the teams that have GM's that aren't getting it done... apologies to teams inherited... something give an award to the team with the most points and a worst place award. Maybe instead of just adding presigns let's subtract one too. Team with fewest posts or replys or late/last response to mandatory things. You complain that your team sucks but do nothing to improve it or the league. So the involved guys, guys that draft well or trade well need to prop your sad sack franchise up. I've been the best and the worst and I'm sure I'll be both again. Stop being Canadian and giving participation ribbons!
