The Flyers were 20-14-8 with a +15 goal differential before the coaching change and sitting just outside the playoffs in the 9th seed, 14th overall, and 3rd in their own division. Once Coach Keenan took over, his no nonsense approach guided the Flyers to a league best penalty kill (91.81%), through injuries to their #1 goalie, a goal differential of +74, and a record of 26-9-1-4 with him behind the bench. This incredible run not only out the Flyers into the playoffs, but won them their division, the 2nd seed in the East, and 3rd in the league. Could this in-season coaching change also be enough to get GM Boustred some consideration for his second straight Faber and first ever top GM?

Also Dave Lewis of the Leafs.
Leafs missed the playoffs last season and guided the team to 5th in the east this season and then out coached Keenan in the second round with relative ease.

People will take them into consideration unfortunately. Awards are suppose to be voted on before the playoffs so there's no playoff bias added to it. But here we are. Try not to include playoff performances when voting
