Each year the RSHL Owners have to decide whether to take a chance on a long term prospect or an RSHL ready player who will pay immediate divedends.

Lets take a look at a few players available that could be inserted immediately into a teams lineup. It will be interesting to see where they go in this years entry draft.

Andrew Ebbet: C

Is adept at producing points at any level, since he's both a good playmaker and decent goal-scorer. Speed is the name of his game. Undersized scoring forward.


Wayne Simmonds: LW

A good skater with a solid shot, he is also not afraid of physical play and is willing to drop the gloves in defense of his teammates despite his thin frame. Also has a leader-type mentality. A gritty winger capable of decent offensive production while physically wearing down the competition late in games.

Brett Festerling: D

A hard-working and smart rearguard, he makes good decisions. A leader in the locker room, he can also chip in on offense when needed. Top six defenseman.

Jeff Finger: D

Plays a steady game from the back end and usually limits his mistakes. Can log plenty of ice time and is a solid team-first player. Top six defenseman.

A long-limbed butterfly goalie who covers a lot of area, he is quick on his skates and takes good angles. He's calm, efficient in the crease and mature. Potential No. 1A goaltender.
