south florida gets franchise player!!!

Last night. the florida panthers made a move to acquire the rights to pick first in this years entry draft, after swapping pick number 3 and 14 for the 1st overall and russian prospect yuri alexandrov. When we heard the news that gm loconte from vancouver wanted out of the 1st spot, we decided to take a shot at it and it paid off!!! says gm Nicodemo, proud of his blockbuster move.

In the last few days, Seen Stamkos banner were seen in vancouver but they all disappear after this swap, and thousand of fans showed up near the office depot center right after the annoucment, where they held Got Stamkos! banners over their head to show the management who they really want.

Well, the panthers didnt waste any time to make their selection as they give a bit of hopes to the southern florida fans and give them a true franchise player, when they announce to the league and to the world that with the 1st pick, they are proud to select franchise centerman Steven Stamkos!!! After yet another losing season, the sudden death of their top pick last year in Alexei Cherepanov, the decision by ufa ken klee to chose chicago over us because they offered 28 dollars more!!!! and the departure of captain patrice bergeron dealt to quebec city, this deal now brings long term hope to a franchise that hasnt generated much success so far in rshl. We planned on bringing him slowly and by adding another quality pick in next year high prospect class draft and by trying to bring two quality wingers to play with the new face of this team, we hope in the short term, we get out of the lower part of the standing!!
