RSHL Free Agency

Ok everyone has been waiting for something official from me, so here you go.... Our Free Agency will begin on Monday August 17, 2009. How bids will be submitted is not confirmed as of yet, as I'm not sure what I'll have setup by then.

The Entry draft will likley run a couple weeks afterwards, POSSIBLY the week of August 31.

More details will follow as I come up with them...

Sounds good, I am away for my wedding/honeymoon from about Aug 2 until the 20th. Hopefully we can get the draft started before I leave as it's pretty important for me... but if not, I will make due.

You can consider Free Agency officially open. You will find a new link in your team intranet named "Free Agency Manager".

From there you'll open a new window that will allow you to select from a list of all the Free Agents, then select then length of contract, followed by the value. Really that simple.

But seeing as I'm rewriting my program I previously wrote, I don't recall all our working rules of FA, ie when can GM's outright cancel bids?

Well I'll move on to round 2 Wednesday morning, so really teams are best to have bids in ASAP (as there is no advantage to be the last to bid. To make my life easier I'll say Wednesday at 12:00 am (Tuesday night, midnight).
